SUBMIT A PORTFOLIO OF 25 IMAGES
While each artist’s style should be apparent, the portfolio should be diverse in nature with different lighting, subjects, poses, and expressions. The objective is to demonstrate the artist’s skill and mastery of shooting in a variety of different lighting situations, exhibiting mastery of the specific niche of studio photography.
Studio portraiture involves creating stunning, high-quality portraits in a controlled studio setting, using a variety of professional lighting setups and equipment. The mastery of studio portraiture requires not only technical knowledge but also a creative eye to capture the personality and essence of each subject. Whether you are working with individuals or groups, mastering the art of studio lighting, composition, and posing is essential for professional-grade portrait photography.
Please note: ALL 25 images must include a person.
Each image must have completely different subjects, pose, scene, and overall feel. Each image must be of a DIFFERENT subject. For example, should you submit an image of a newborn, it will not be acceptable to submit another image with the same newborn and his or her family.
At least 15 images in your portfolio must contain a single subject.
At least 5 images in your portfolio must contain multiple subjects.
